Excellentable Permission Scheme

The following documentation is for Confluence Cloud users

Excellentable follows the Confluence page permission model.

Excellentable Macro content is tied to the Confluence page that it is created on.

A user must have read access to the page in order to view the content of the Excellentable. Similarly the user must have edit access on the page in order to edit the Excellentable content.

These permissions are dependent on both the Confluence hostname as well as the page ID.

Modifying your Confluence hostname, will cause all Excellentables created before the modification to show the "Insufficient Permission" error below.

Please contact Excellentable Support in the event that this happens.
