How to Use Excellentable Accessibility

With release version 4.3.2 of Excellentable, we introduce accessibility to our spreadsheets. Supporting ADA compliance and screen readers like Windows Narrator, NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access) for Windows, and VoiceOver for Mac OS X.  Now screen readers will be able to read the value and position of the selected cell. Below are some helpful tips and controls to make Excellentable easier to use.

Easier Navigation

1. To move the active cell, you can either use the arrow keys or the Tab key. Move to the next cell by pressing the Tab key and moving to the previous cell by pressing the Shift key along with the Tab key.
   
   

2. Once a new cell is selected, your screen reader should tell you the position of the selected cell as well as the value.
   
   

3. You can also get the value of any cell by hovering over that cell with your cursor. Again, the screen reader should tell you the position of the cell being hovered over as well as the value of that cell.
